Premium group

About:

We use two types of spring steel for production of band saw blades in this group: QSX 50 , QSX 48, with following alloy elements: carbon, manganese, silicon, chromium, vanadium, molybdenum and nickel. Both steel types are manufactured within controlled supply chain from metallurgical furnace charge of ThyssenKrupp AG  and rolled in rolling mill Risse + Wilke, according to the German industrial norm DIN EN 10140 and according to the company norm QS 2010 with tightened tolerances of width, thickness, flatness, camber and steel composition.  Narrowing of above mentioned tolerances significantly improves the quality of our saw blades.

The tooth shape in Premium group is accomplished through precise package grinding technology, currently the most advanced technology in the world, which guarantees tooth machining with tolerance of +/-  0,015 mm.

Next saw blade teeth are hardened in an oil at the level of 2,5 - 3,00 mm from the top and tempered. After that operation saw blades are set on equipment with optical measurement system (6 teeth at one time, with tolerance max +/-  0,02 mm).

The sharpening and calibrating of tooth face angle and clearance angle is made on highly accurate CNC machinery.  Blades from this group are subject to additional processes patented by QSGS, which increase the blade fatigue strength.  In a final step saw blades are marked and welded into loops on one of the eight automatic computer controlled lines.  The entire process is examined and supervised by engineers from our factory laboratory. In this group we achieve measurement repeatability of tooth geometry +/- 0,02 mm

Saw blades in this group differ by alloy elements content, width and thickness and certain production technology processes.

Due to the use of the highest quality steel combined with patent-protected production technology Premium blades for wood have the best quality to price ratio.
